Na het behalen van mijn rijbewijs A in oktober 1997 ben ik direct gaan zoeken naar een leuke startersfiets. Tijdens deze zoektocht viel mijn oog op de Kawasaki GPX750R. Een mooie fiets uit 1987 die mij wel een paar jaartjes rijplezier kon geven.
Na een aantal jaren trouwe dienst en de nodige kilometers heb ik de Kawasaki GPX750R ingeruild voor een Honda VTR1000f Firestorm. Een lekkere 1000cc tweecylinder. Voor het verbruik hoef je hem niet te kopen, maar als je er eenmaal mee gereden hebt, en het geluid van de Bos-uitlaten gehoord hebt, ben je meteen verkocht.
De laatste aanschaf ik een Peugeot Satelis 250. Een motorscooter die door de automaat (CVT) hele rustige rijeigenschappen heeft.

The Satelis scooters are also suitable for longer distances and tours thanks to their spacious storage space and powerful motorization. They are available in many different versions from 125cc to 500cc.
